Planes Takes Part In Oprah Winfrey's Home Makeover Show

CHICAGO- Planes Moving & Storage of Chicago/United Van Lines will be the official moving and storage company for a new Oprah show segment called, Nate’s Home Makeover Show.
The show will air its first home makeover edition Monday, February 11, 2008, 4pm EST. Jim Martin, Vice President of Business Development for Planes Chicago, was invited to the Oprah show and appeared on stage with other contractors who participated in the makeover. Jim Martin is the Harpo, Inc. Account Manager for Planes in Chicago.
This episode took place in Seattle, WA. United Van Lines Corporate crews did all of the packing, loading, storage, delivery and set-up. GWS/Planes Project Managers, Ann Hrovat and Pete Gillespie were on-site coordinators.
The Halejoel Family won the contest. They had six people, 3 adults, 3 kids, in a 1400 square foot home. The website says “A couple gave up their dream house to give three girls a second chance” and “Nate Builds a Dream House - It's the biggest makeover in Oprah Show history!”
